次に作る布ぞうりのために、布を裁断しました。

一枚一枚、長さや手触りを確かめながら、静かに手を動かす時間です。

まだ形にはなっていませんが、

この布たちは、これから編まれ、足元にやさしく寄り添う一足へと変わっていきます。

完成した姿を思い浮かべながら、

今日も少しずつ、準備を進めています。

I’ve finished cutting the fabric for the next pair of fabric zōri.

It’s a quiet, careful process—checking the texture and length of each piece as I work.

They are not yet zōri,

but these pieces will soon be woven into something that gently supports your feet.

With the finished pair in mind,

I continue my preparations, one small step at a time.
